Learning Turkish on the Asian Side (Istanbul)

Hello, I have been in Istanbul for 3 months now and I am wondering how people have been learning Turkish. I do not have my residency permit yet so this prevents me from taking certain free courses and I haven't found any other options near me (Atasehir). Has anyone had any luck with online learning? Or any other suggestions?
