Leaving the country before ikamet appointment (Istanbul)

Hi guys,

I just filled up the online application form for ikamet today and my appointment date is in 3 months. Can I still leave the country and come back if my 90 days is not up yet, to get another 90 days and avoid possible overstaying fees just in case?

I first entered Turkey on March 30 and stayed for 2 months before entering the country again mid August. So from what I understand, my 90 days will be up mid-Sep and the Protected content period will conclude end of Sep. Is that correct?

So if I leave the country by mid-Sep, and enter again in Oct will I get another 90 days?
