Moving to Istanbul

Hi,
We are contemplating a move to Istanbul and I'm hoping to start a dog sitting / grooming business. Are there already a few businesses offering these services or is there a need?
Also, what is life like in Istanbul? Is it a nice place to live?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
