New to Istanbul. Please help!

Hi everyone! I just moved to Istanbul and I was hoping to get some insights from all of you. Right now, the most urgent thing is to get internet installed in my apartment. Can anyone recommend a provider and maybe outline the process on what I have to do? Thanks!
Also, if anyone is down to meet for coffee, dinner or drinks, I am always looking to make new friends :)
