relocating to Istanbul

Dear Internations Community,

I may be relocating to Istanbul and would be interested in a residents guide for expats. (Explorer publishes this for Sydney, Singapore, Dubai, etc.,which you may know). Does anyone know if there is such a book for Istanbul? To help me get a sense of schools, suburbs, housing, things to do, employment opportunities for trailing spouses etc.? And if there is, where can I order it? Amazon comes up with the usual travel guides only, which are of little help.

What is the cost of a nice house? Pool? Seaview? Better to live on Bosperus, Marmara or Black Sea? Traffic?
