Removing someone from friend list (Istanbul)

Removing someone from friend list in social networks is it good behavior when you didn't notice why before?
Which kind of friendship, is promoting the InterNations. As a member I thought here is the place to being friends and sharing the experiences and having the friends around the world.
Respecting to privet area is important, but in my mind removing someone from the friend list without good reason and without informing him/her is such a insulting. isn't it?
I am going to be disappointed about meaning of friendship and behavior between the people here.
