Researching Turkish Press - looking for contacts (Istanbul)

Hi,
My name is Merel van Beeren, a Dutch graduate student of journalism at New York university. I'm spending the next four weeks in Istanbul, part of a San Francisco State University journalism program and interning at the Hürriyet Daily News. Apart from working on stories for them, I'm doing research on the Turkish press.

I would love to come into contact with people working in journalism, print and broadcast (newspapers and magazines), both foreign reporters working for their home countries or Turkish press, and Turkish journalists working in Istanbul or overseas.
