Seeking EXPATRIATES who are not citizens or permanent residents of Turkey, but who worked in ISTANBUL, TURKEY from May 31, Protected content July 18, Protected content .

Hello,

My name is LeAnn DeHoff. I am a doctoral candidate in the International Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am conducting a dissertation research study to explain how expatriates, who worked in Istanbul, Turkey from May 31, Protected content July 18, Protected content , learned about the civil unrest/protests during their international work assignment. The information from this dissertation study will help organizations and communities further understand the psychological, physical, and economical stressors that may affect expatriate employees and their families while on an international work assignment.

To qualify, expatriate employees should:
• Have held a professional position in Istanbul, Turkey during May 31, Protected content July 18, Protected content
• Be a working professional employee, who is working in a country, other than the country in which he or she was born (e.g., foreign born worker; such as born in Greece and working in Turkey).
• Be 30 years of age or older and speak English.
• Be a citizen of a country other than the United States (i.e. non-citizen of the US)

Purpose of this study: To explain how expatriate learned about civil unrest/protests during their international work assignment.

Procedure: If you qualify and agree to participate in this research, it will take up to 90 minutes of your time (averaging Protected content . Only one virtual interview via Skype will be requested. The primary researcher, LeAnn DeHoff, will be conducting the interview. No one else will be present during your interview. The interview will be recorded for analysis purposes only.

Confidentiality: Your privacy will be respected at all time, and the information you share will remain confidential and presented in total with the findings from other interviews with expatriates. Upon completion of this dissertation research, you will receive a copy of the results.
