Shipping animals to Turkey (Istanbul)

Hello all!

I'm very excited to finally arrive in Istanbul this Thursday - this forum has been a great help - can't wait to meet you all and explore the city!

I am shipping my dog on the 22nd and am hearing conflicting things about paperwork required by Turkey - have any of you shipped a dog? If so, what did you need, and was it difficult getting the dog out of customs?
