Straight Razor shaving. (Istanbul)

Hello everyone,

I've gotten an awesome gift for my birthday this year, a straight ( or cut throat) razor. The trouble is I've got no idea how to sharpen it, strop it, or shave with it lol.

I'm sure the turkish barbers can help me with the shaving technique but they shave with disposable razorblades so not much help in the sharpening/honing department there.

My question, are there any straight razor shavers living in Istanbul and if yes, may I buy you a cup of tea/coffee?? :)
