Turkish resident; Passport control line at IST? (Istanbul)

Typically, I would not have asked this question because I would know the answer, "no," anyplace else. I read on a blog though that if you have a resident permit, you can go through the Turkish citizen passport control line. That the person on the blog went through the line with no problems.

Anyone have any experience with this? I would be flying into IST on Tuesday morning and it would be great to go through the Turkish citizen line but I have no expectations to do so.
