Vacancy: Strategic Business Unit Manager (Istanbul)

Principal duties and responsibilities

Oversees and manages the operations of a business unit(s) with overall responsibility for the account (i.e. service delivery, sales, operations, IT, HR, facilities). Manages the client relationship ensuring customer satisfaction. Also responsible for the development of new business scope within the account.

•Acts as the principal client contact
•Directs and manages the daily operations of one or more SBU’s
•Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
•Develops budget estimates and manages project/contract to meet revenue and cost projections
•Determines resource allocation levels to meet project/contract commitments
•Analyzes workflow and assignments to ensure efficient and cost effective operations; develops/implements process and service improvements as needed
•Reviews and resolves issues affecting Company compliance, legal requirements and client objectives
•Partners with senior staff in developing and marketing new client programs/services as required
•All other duties as assigned

Professional experience

•Extensive experience in managing the operations of a business unit
•Previous account management experience is required
•Call center experience is a must
•Experience in an outsourcing environment is preferred.

•Strong communication skills
•Fluent in English. German or Dutch is a plus
•Strong management skills
•Proven decision making skills
•Excellent personal relationship development skills
•Location in the Istanbul area
•Willing to travel
Educational requirements: University level degree in information technology or business management fields.
