Work Permit for Foreign Domestic Workers (Istanbul)

Hello All,

Due to the heavy demand for foreign domestic workers recently, the Ministry of Labor has limited the application requirements as below:

· They will only allow work permits for those who have young children (age not indicated), old and sick people.

· Old and sick people must proof current health condition with officlal health report.

· Male domestic workers will not be allowed to have work permit unless serious care is needed.

· Incase the Ministry of Labor find out unpaid Social Security contributions, they will not allow work permit renewals and charge penalty to employers.
