Advice on travel threats... HELP! (Izmir)

Hey fellow expats. I am worried because 1 1/2 years ago my daughter decided she wanted to get married in Cesme since I was now living in Izmir, but now she is worried about the threats we all hear about. We have already put down payments on the place and entertainment. Should I tell her to just have her August wedding in NC, or not worry? If you have any info about what is going on PLEASE let me know... Thanks
