The criteria were cleanness of the water proved by microbiological analyzes, natural beauty, care for preventing the environment, perfect under-sea structure, richness in fish kind, establishments protecting the nature and qualified personnel.

Piyade Koyu, Çeşme Alaçatı
There are a few establishments in the Cove. The Municipality controls the public beach while the Çark Beach in Liman is under the protection of Süzer Hotel. It is famous for its fine sand and thermal characteristics. The sea is shallow for meters and suitable for windsurf. It has lifeguards and the Seaside Beach Club at Piyade Cove serves as sports and water sports center during daytime and bar, disco and restaurant at nights.

Ilıca Plajı, Çeşme
This 7 kilometer long beach is famous throughout the world and is open to public. Sheraton Hotel has been in service here since Protected content the sea carries thermal characteristics.
