Izmir Summer Concerts on the Grass every Thursday!

Dear Friends,

Probably all of you know that: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is organising "Concerts on the grass" every summer in the Historic Air Gas Factory (Havagazi Fabrikasi, where you can see a very big chimney) in Alsancak (next to Izmir Harbour). This season's concerts are started in July and yesterday the second concert took place. The concerts are every Thursday and start at 21.00

We were there with some more international and Turkish friends. It was good gathering and we had lots of fun. The atmosphere is very nice there. There are people from age 7 to 70 and everybody is sitting on the grass (There are of course chairs and pillows) and you are allowed to drink there! You can bring your own food and drinks! You can do it only in Izmir :)

Ewa, me and some more friends will go to these concerts every Thursdays. So if you are thinking to join us. please let us know! We would like to see many of you there.
