Christmas Charity (Jakarta)

It is December now and Christmas is just around the corner.

Santa is coming to town!

This time Helping Hands Club will work together with MSG (Marines) and Saba (the friends of Indonesian chidren's Ward) to distribute Christmas gifts (toys and childrens book) for the in-patient children at Harapan Kita hospital, West Jakarta on Sunday, 18 December Protected content to be advised later).

We'll collect toys (toys for tots) and children's book (Indonesian children's book will be better). Total of in-patient children in Harapan Kita hospital is Protected content . If we have more than that, we will distribute the toys/children book to a shelter home for street kids/orphans who celebrates Xmas too in Kranggan (total 20 children).

We also plan to have Santa Claus and the xmas Elf distributing the gift to them. During the distribution, we plan to sing two songs “Santa Claus is coming to town…” and "Jingle bell". We might prepare some children Indonesian songs to entertain them. We are looking for volunteers to be Santa Claus, singers or a musician (guitarist). Please contact me if you want to volunteer. We might have one practice before 18 Dec.
