Expats that are also doubting life choices in JKT? (Jakarta)

Hi all,

So, I moved to Jakarta in May with my then-partner and I started working as an English teacher here. Since then, the relationship ended and because JKT was not really my first choice in relocation locations, I am having a hard time adjusting to life here. It's quite difficult to meet expats and locals are scared of me, so I just wanted to ask how you guys meet people and enjoy this difficult city?
