Hair Smoothing (Jakarta)

my hair is very curly/wavy here and i would like to get it straightened. i dont know what the terms here mean: rebonding and smoothing. im used to seeing keratin treatments or agave treatments. i have heard rebonding is very harsh and i dont think i want that. im confused as to what smoothing means and if it will last and what products they they tend to use. i tried to ask a salon these questions but they just said they use German and Japanese products to smooth and didnt know anything more. The Japanese one was more expensive and my hair just below the shoulder was quoted at 850,000.

can someone help explain the terms and help me figure out if this salon (Anata in Bandung) is worth it?
