Hi - Moving to Jakarta in Feb

Hi all -
We're an Indian couple currently residing in Mumbai, India, who will be moving to Jakarta in the first week of February. As neither of us has ever been to Indonesia, we're counting on all the advice/tips/suggestions that we can get prior to arriving.

So please fire away -

Some questions which we currently have are:
- Whats the best way to go about finding accommodation. My office is at Senayan - so would like to look at options which keep travel time to Protected content each way.
- Anything that we should carry with us, besides are clothes etc. while moving?
- Should we look to buy a car or lease on with a driver? Any indicative costs?
- How easy/tough is it to get cable/internet...and does one get all the foreign channels etc.

We look forward to connecting with some of you - and hopefully developing these once we're there.
