Marketing Manager at fast growing start up (Jakarta)

Bima, a rapidly growing global financial services provider, is recruiting a Marketing Manager to help support sales activity and drive brand awareness in its Indonesia operations. The focus of the role is to develop and implement a BTL sales marketing strategy followed potentially by an ATL strategy, whilst supporting other communications initiatives as required.

The Role

As marketing manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Working with management team to develop a marketing strategy that will promote the Bima brand and its products within the local market
• Developing new BTL marketing initiatives to support sales activity, specifically localised activations and community based marketing programmes
• Managing campaign and events budgets
• Running sales and marketing events programmes, from preparation (securing necessary permissions, managing community outreach, etc.), throw to logistics planning and on-the-day support at events
• Managing the design of/designing marketing materials (brochures, t-shirts, banners and other external collateral) and coordinating their supply and distribution
• Developing and maintaining the Bima Indonesia website
• Managing Bima social media sites, specifically customer facing Facebook page
• Measuring impact of marketing activities through evaluation against set KPIs

The candidate must have:
• Bachelors or post-graduate degree
• Min. Protected content experience in a marketing role with a consumer facing role
• High level of proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Experience in digital marketing is strongly preferred
• Strong organisational skills and experience preparing and managing budgets would be an advantage
• Experience in planning, measurement and evaluation of BTL marketing campaigns would be an advantage as well
• Proficiency using Microsoft office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred candidates will also have experience in:
• Working with designers to create marketing materials (or expertise using design software such as Adobe InDesign)
• Experience in managing social media outreach for a customer facing business
• Basic PR i.e. managing media relations and coordinating distribution of press releases

The ideal candidate will be:
• A self starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Confident and prepared to come up with creative ideas to sustain the business
• Willing to work in a start-up atmosphere and grow with the organization
• Keen to learn with a hands on approach and capable of taking tough decisions
• Ambitious
