Movember Mustache Auction (Jakarta)

"Movember is a month-long campaign of growing mustaches to raise awareness and support about men’s health issues like testicular and prostate cancer. We have a band of brothers growing things below their noses that we’ll call mustaches for our purposes.

On Saturday, December 1st from 2-5pm at Amigos Mega Kuningan, we are throwing a party to gather the funds for donation, shave these monstrosities – err, mustaches – off our faces, and have a good time.

We are going to auction off the mustaches. The highest bid wins a prize, as will best and worst mustaches. Movember men have testosterone, and therefore love contests to prove which of them has the BIGGEST, LONGEST, THICKEST - um - hairs on on their upper lip. Geez, where did you think that was going?

Anyway, rally all your buddies to pool funds to bid up the auction to prove yourself the man among men. What happens to the mustaches after the bid? That's the winning bidder's call; we'd be worried about anyone holding tweezers and a vat of wax.

The MO-gerita proftis and donations from the event will be split evenly between LIVESTRONG and Yayason KANKER, brining resources to bear in Indonesia and supporting cutting-edge research in the United States."

And those of you that haven't grown a mustache and want to go to buy them at auction (I'm looking at you, ladies), then feel free to come down and enjoy the festivities!
