Moving to Jakarta at the end of June

Hello everyone, I am new to the internations community and, like my post says, I will be moving to Jakarta at the end of June to take up a teaching position. I am curious about life there. I will be in the area of pantai indah kapuk, I believe. Does anyone know this area? Any info is useful. Also, what have been some of the greatest challenges you've faced in moving to Jakarta? What are the high points?

I hear wonderful things about the food as well but also that one must be quite careful when eating on the street. How do you find the street food situation? My nose, taste buds, and stomach tend to lead the way when I travel...
