Need Credit Card (Jakarta)

Hi

My credit card just expired and I tried to apply for a credit card in Jakarta.

Turns out its very difficult. ANZ rejected my application & of a good dutch friend and did not provide a reason. The bank where I have my regular account - Mandiri says I need to freeze Protected content Rupiahs for atleast 3 months and then I can apply for it. I think there was a fraud involving some expats a few years back & hence rules for expats getting credit cards here are very strict.

And banks back in India make it difficult since my period of stay here will be more than 6 months.
I work here & do have kitas, NPWP, police verification , temporary residence proof & any documents they might need.
Any suggestions on how or through which bank can I get a credit card here ??
