Planning to stay in Jakarta soon, I am looking for an apartment for my family. As far as I know, most landlords in Jakarta want to have 2-year rental contract and on-time payment prior to moving in.
Understanding that this is local and common practice, I'd like to know if there's any kind of insurance covering the prepaid rental. My point is; In case the landlord goes bankrupt (or facing financial difficulties) during the contract period, how can my "prepaid rent" for the remaining period?
Thank you in advance for your kind reply and information.
