Tax Advice.. (Jakarta)

Just a quick general question...

How do people get paid? Do you received some of your salaries all in your host country and pay all you tax here. Or do you have some of your salary paid locally and the rest paid in your home. Paying the portion of tax in each?

Just trying to get a picture of what is "normal" especially from large international companies.
