"Thank you" vs "I am sorry" (Jakarta)

I hate when people hesitate say "thank you" after we help or do something for them...
what is the difficulty to say thank you?
thank you is a nice words as respect and appreciation...

it is not as hard as to say "I am sorry"...
generally men are not easy to say "I am sorry" moreover to his partner after fighting bcos of ego, and I understand that... I know he was sorry in his heart....
but say "I am sorry" to friend ?? is it that difficult ?

are you a type of people which is not easy to say "sorry" or "thank you ?
