Transport time in Jakarta?

Hi everyone,

My name is Julian and I will be moving in Jakarta beginning of Janaury. My officie will be located in South Jakarta (crossing of Jl. Pangeran Antasari and Jalan Tahi Bonar Simatupang).

I have read a lot about traffic in Jakarta and was wondering what would be the approximate transport time if I would live in Central Jakarta. Or should I rather stay in South Jakarta?

Also, it seems that using moto taxis like gojek or uber is quite common. Does anyone have experience with it, and how safe it is?
