Friendliest area in Kingston to live (Jamaica)

Hey,
Protected content moving to JA from the UK with my family, i cant afford to live in areas such as cherry gardens or anywhere like that,but am looking for areas in kingston that are friendly,lovely and safe to live. where my kids can play with friends as they are both young. I am of Jamaican decent and i think my fathers ideas of all kingston when he was young are different to the places i have heard of now. any advice will be much appreciated
