Information on living in Kingston (Jamaica)

Hi there, my company has a job opportunity in Kingston. Myself & my partner are exploring the idea of moving there for a couple of years.
I am looking for some general information on what it is like to live there?. We enjoy outdoor activities - (sailing, hiking, tennis etc) good food and music.
Is there a large expat community in Kingston? Is it active, close nit and sociable?
What is the healthcare system like? and is crime/personal safety an issue?
