Exit visa without Iqama? (Jeddah)

Hi everyone,

I'm really confused. My husband may have to come home as it is taking to long to process the family visa. He has been in his current position (teacher) for a month now.

He has been told that his Iqama will not be ready until another Protected content !

Does anyone know if he can leave Saudi without his Iqama?

Please help!
