I am going to move in Rabigh (north of Jeddah)

Dear All,
I have been told that Saudi is a very difficult place and that the "social life" is, let's say, absent. I worked in Qatar and UAE for 4 years, so i think i am experienced enough with the Arab mentality but I would like to ask you if you could provide me any useful tip to "survive" in such a conservative country. I've already got some useful information from the theads answered before . . . but just to be sure i didn't miss anything important i posted this thread as well.

Ah, with the word "survive" i mean to avoid to go in jail taking a photo of something and/or loosing my sanity living closed in a camp alone. :)

I am going to stay in Saudi for 1 year at least.
