Location, Location, Location (Jeddah)

Hi. I arrive in Jeddah next week and for now will be staying in a hotel. Was hoping I can pick your brains on the best location?

I'll be doing a lot of traveling for work in and around the city so want to be close to the main highways but also pretty central if that's possible, I'm looking at the Corniche for now.... Any recommendations?
