Problem in visa processing. New Iqama. (Jeddah)

Hi,

I came on a iqama visa to Saudi Arabia almost 3 months back. Unfortunately, my sponsor has delayed the iqama process because of some pending documentation from the company side.

My iqama visa which will be valid for 90 days stay is expiring in another 2 days. He is asking me to stay at home and he wants to continue the iqama process after the deadline.

I am not interested in his request because that will make me an illegal immigrant. I want to resign the company and leave for good.

I need advice to know what would be the consequences if I am demanding my passport back and want to leave the country after deadline.

Do I need any documents from sponsor to be shown at airport immigration?

also, I want to know folloing information.
Do we get any proof of document or receipt showing that my passport is submitted in Jawazat for iqama process?
How do we know that my Iqama is already in process?
