Expat life in Jo'burg (Johannesburg)

Hi everyone,

I might eb moving to Jo'burg in 2 months, and I was wondering how active is your community over there? Are you meeting up? Which area of the city are most meetings going to be held?

Which area is best for living in - so that I'd have easy access to the meeting places? I've heard is not that easy to move around in the evening.

I'll appreciate any answer about "real experience" on the site.
