Interest in moving to Germany (Johannesburg)

I'm an English speaking, young South African guy. I have a university degree in mathematical finance and I work in the banking sector. I'm hoping to emigrate from South Africa in the next year or so and I'd appreciate some feedback from others who have been on the same journey. Ideally, I'd like to move to Germany for a few years. Does any know of any resource I could look at to find out all the requirements or possible visas I could apply for. In the meantime I'm trying to learn German and build up some savings.
