JOB, STUDY, LEISURE IN JOBURG?! (Johannesburg)

HI THERE! I am trying to find a job and not getting much results. Seems a bit difficult. I am not requesting too much :) Maybe someone can advice a website/recruiter which I can try? Any advises about good universities are welcome too.
Do the universities start at January normally? What is there to do in Johannesburg for an expat's wife? :) Gym, dancing is cool (I am looking into that) but want some more to keep me busy:)
