VOLUNTARY TEACHER IN JOHANNESBURG (Johannesburg)

I am travelling to Jonnaesburgh as a voluntary teacher mid January and I would like to receive your advice and suggestions about what is worth visiting and also some advice about safety areas since I have heard It is not advisable to walk on streets as foreigners because of crime rate. I would really appreciate your comments.
