Informal Get Togethers (Kabul)

I was wondering if any expat InterNations members would be interested in the occasional (perhaps monthly) informal gathering for a chat and a drink - perhaps even a BBQ.

It might take place on a Friday afternoon. I have a house with a good sized room and pleasant garden in Shar-e-Naw and I would be open to hosting such a gathering. It would, of course, be a BYOE2S ("bring your own everything to share") event.

Some people will know of the "Kabul Hash" group and may be regulars there. There is no intention of going into competition with that group, but the format, style and activities of the Hash do not suit everyone.

I would be glad to hear from any people who may be interested or who may have other suggestions for something similar.

If a few people are interested, we could make arrangements to have a test event.
