What to pack / where to stay? (Kabul)

Dear Internations member in Kabul,
I will be coming the first time to Kabul and will stay there for a couple of months. I try to get a sense of what to pack - or not to pack. (Beside the usual suspects (personal medication ect.).
What do you suggest me to bring / or not bring.

I am an Austrian female, will be working for the UN with NO travel into the regions.

I will also be looking for a house to share (UN security approved) preferable with other females.
