Advice for mom of 3 year old and 8 month old (Kampala)

Hello all! I was just offered a position in Kampala and need to make a decision asap. The one issue holding me back is my 4 month old (who would be 8 months when we moved) won't have vaccinations against all the diseases present in Uganda and I'm a little nervous I'm putting my kids at too high a risk of contracting something. Does anyone have kids that can speak to this?
