Documents for work permit in Uganda (Kampala)

My name is INAMOTO Yoshinori from Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan.

I have currently been inquiring about Work Permit ViSA (Especially, Criminal Free

Record) from the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs, Japan.

According to the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs, Japan, they told me, in order for me to

obtain my Crimnal Free Record, that I need to get the two following documents from

the Uganda Authority.


① Relevant law or order which shows that an intending foriegn worker to Uganda should obtain his / her Criminal Free Record from his / her country of origin.

② A letter or an application form from the Uganda Authority inquiring to an applicant that he / she needs a Criminal Free record.


In my case, I`ll be employed by an Ugandan company, so that I may need the above

① and ② which Uganda Authority offer. (There are several types of work permit

visas according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Uganda)

As regard to ①, which official website should I search for Relevant law or order

which shows that an intending foriegn worker to Uganda should obtain his / her

Criminal Free Record from his / her country of origin.
