Dog Boarding (Kampala)

Hi Kampala folks! We have been living in Kampala for about four months and plan to stay several years. We are loving the city and also getting out to explore Uganda's hinterlands. Our Staffordshire Terrier mix is also loving his new home - particularly the weather!

We were wondering if anyone knows a good place to board your dog when on vacation, as we like to travel around and will be going home to the US for the winter holidays. It could either be someone to stay in our Bukoto flat, someone with dogs that would like to care for him (he loves other dogs), or a professional boarding facility. We are leaning towards the first two options as we may have exhausted the relatively few (and generally dismal) boarding facility options in Kampala. Please let us know if you have any ideas or if your pet would like a temporary companion!
