French Film Festival (Kampala)

Just so you are aware there is a French Film Festival on at Cineplex Garden City from the 11th November Protected content November: Short description below;

Cinema is the form of art that is shortly enjoyed but long remembered. Episodes of live-changing, heartbreaking dialogues; light and harmony next to cruelty and obscurity. Profoundness in the zoomed eyes of the protagonist meets the cold shape of an anti-hero faceless killer. Since their establishment, films were used to transport doctrines, promises of fulfilment and the possibility of pure happiness alike. We love cinema, and we love to share it with others.
This November, the Alliance Française Kampala and the Goethe-Zentrum Kampala celebrate contemporary cinema from France, Germany and Uganda with you. Entrance is free. All movies that are not being screened in English will be subtitled in English. There will be time for annotations from the audience and space for discussions after the screenings of most films.
