Living with boyfriend in Uganda (Kampala)

Hello people,

I know it may sound silly for asking but I really wonder.

So, my boyfriend is moving to Uganda for work and we plan to stay together there. Would it be acceptable by the enviroment or local people ?

I mean, in some countries, living together without marriage commitment is probably prohibited.
