Pakistan/Karachi Gardening

Is or does anyone have any experience with growing fruit, flowers and/or vegetables in the Pakistan/Karachi climate?
Would be nice to share ideas and information.
Ive started growing my own vegetables as the quality here is pretty bad and Im pretty sure I can do a better job myself through research and ye olde fashioned Internet.

However, would be absolutely great to hear from people who have grown anything here, doesnt matter if it died or not :-)

Hoping to get some good conversations and information going and something edible on my plate in quite a few weeks.
