Renting an apartment in Karachi

Hello,

I am looking for some information on the housing market in Karachi. It is always difficult to plan a budget when you live faraway. I don't really know where to start.

Doing some research on the Internet, I found out that the best areas in Karachi are Defense and Clifton. Would you recommend them ?

Also, I am still wondering whether I should bring my family along (3 children). Does anybody have some input ?

Last but not least, what would be the average price of a two-bedroom apartment in a nice and safe area compared with that of a familiy house for instance.
