sports, leisure activities (Karachi)

Hi everyone,

I will be coming to Karachi for a year by the end of August. Since I have been a member of the local Buenos Aires IN community, I was happy to see there is a Karachi chapter as well. However, I do not see too many listings about leisure activities and/ or sports. Since I do not believe Karachi does not have anything to offer in that aspect, I would like to encourage the expat community to share their experiences.
For instance, I am an avid runner Protected content , lots of cross country adventure races, lost count of all others) and would therefore like to join a local running group if possible.
Also, I like to explore the respective dining scenes at my places of residence.

I'd be grateful for any useful comment in this sense.

P.S.: Clifton and Defense seem to be the no.1 areas for living, correct?
