American looking to move and work in Germany (Karlsruhe)

I have very little idea of what I am doing. All I know is I have fallen madly in love with a girl studying in Karlsruhe, and I am looking for a way to be close to her.

I have just graduated with a degree in fine art (digital media) meaning I am interested in videography, film, photography, audio, and post production - ideally within a studio.

I've lived in America my entire life, and English is of course my native language. I have just recently started self-teaching myself the German language, love is a powerful motivator.

Anyways, I'm looking for advice, tips, and ideas. Anything that could throw me towards temporary work and residency in Karlsruhe. Where do I start?
