a couple questions (Kathmandu)

Hello,

I am moving to Boudhanath for studies for a few years. I am really looking forward to this move but I have a few questions:

1- I am required by the university to have a bank account there. Does anyone know the easiest way to open an account and transfer funds from a US account with little to no fees? (is it easier to withdraw cash from the US and then open the account in KTM with cash?)

2- Does anyone know of a flat available for rent? Ideally a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place and within a 10 min walking distance to the stupa.
